Have you experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, or an unsafe situation during Pride? Please report it to us. We will immediately address reports that require urgent attention. In all other cases, you will receive a response from RITA or one of our partners as soon as possible.

During Pride, you can also visit one of our RITA Safer Spaces for a moment of rest, a listening ear, or extra support. Looking for a RITA Safer Space? Check the map of Amsterdam below for all locations.

Just mention the codeword ‘RITA’ upon arrival. You are not alone.

RITA is an independent reporting platform for discrimination, harassment and unsafe situations. Together with Discriminatie.nl, we make sure reports reach the right organisation and that people receive the support they need.

8 rita reminders

1 . Everyone has the right to be themselves.

Whether you are loud, shy, a glitter fan, or a lover of grey socks: you belong here. Period.

2. Discrimination? No place here.

Racism, sexism, LGBTQI+ hate? No thanks. See something happening that isn't right? Speak up or get help. Together is safer.

#3 Respect boundaries, always.

Ask for a yes first, respect a no. Consent is not an extra. It is the foundation.

4. Address people as they wish to be addressed.

It might take some getting used to, but it shows that you are attentive to others. A small effort, a big gesture.

5. Show that everyone is welcome.

A small gesture, an open attitude, or simply making space. Visibility makes it clear: you are not alone here.

6. Safety is maintenance.

It is not a project you finish. That means: keep learning, keep asking, stay sharp. Making mistakes is okay, as long as you are willing to learn from them.

7. Look in the mirror and give yourself a wink.

Love yourself. Seriously. When you are in a strong place, it is easier to make room for others. Start the day with a kind word to yourself.

8. Unsafe situation? Report It Always.

Even if you are just a bystander or are in doubt, please report incidents via ritacommunity.com/report Every report contributes to a safer environment.
Note from RITA:

report discrimination
always!
